At first glance these might seem like unfinished works, but this is as far as these drawings were intended to go. This type of drawing might be done to test a concept or to show various characteristics of an animated character without wasting all the extra time involved in the finish work. The two images in blue pencil were done as tests for the Fox animated series, The Family Guy. The test sheet done in black pencil was for the Fox Animated Motion Picture, Titan A.E., which I worked on a few years ago (check the credits about halfway through). The remaining two pictures were part of a series of quick sketches done during a Life Drawing class I took a few years back, to see some of the sketches of this type that were taken farther look in the Charcoal section of this website.
